49. a haiku about sophia bush

she’s one of a kind.

funny and intelligent.

we’d prob be best friends.

i was going to just leave that, but then i thought it may get a little creepy and misinterpreted if i leave it without an explanation…

sophia bush is one of my all time favorite actresses . she is so down to earth and is a celebrity who truly uses her fame to change the world/ i really think we’d be great friends if we knew each other (that could just be wishful thinking). anyway, i follow her on instagram, and she’s currently in uganda and has been instagramming a lot lately…i was trying to be creative and figured i’d make a haiku about her. it’s not that creepy, is it?

48. merendero de la mari

aka one of the best seafood restaurants i’ve ever been to.

located right near the harbor near barceloneta beach, this restaurant has fresh, delicious cuisines for a very reasonable price and a great ambiance outside. if you’re ever in barcelona, it is a MUST.

47. vikings

ok, i know i am the biggest tube jock in history, but i just love TV so much.

i started watching the TV show, vikings and i am just having such a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that the main character is NOT Charlie Hunnam (remember: sons of anarchy hottie?). they are literally IDENTICAL.

look for yourself:

i mean, c’mon…they are literally the same person. i don’t know whether it’s strange or exciting.

46. yo! sushi

if you have not had the opportunity to have yo! sushi, you are severely missing out. i’m not sure why i’m so obsessed with it, but it is just delicious, and i love the layout of the inside! they have a converter belt that lets you pick up whatever sushi you’d like. it’s basically a fat girl’s dream (but i guess it’s kind of healthy since it’s sushi?

oh! and this chocolate mochi is actually amazing. i stop there at random times during the day strictly for the mochi.

safe to say you should go there.

44. cambridge

if i ever decide to get my masters, i am 100% going to do it in cambridge. it’s such a cute, little town. granted, i’d probably never live there for more than a year, but still the quality of education i’d be getting (not to mention the quality of hot guys), i’d do it! for it being such a small town, it’s still pretty lively and there’s plenty to do- like have a very attractive man take you punting on the river.

42. vamos al parque… guell

Yet another thing that i had the opportunity to do this weekend (besides go to the US Embassy) was to visit Park Guell in Barcelona. I’ve taken Spanish classes since grade school, so for years I’ve learned of the different renowned artists of Spain, including Antoni Gaudi. He was a brilliant architect and artist famous for a numerous amount of works, most notably: La Sagrada Familia, Casa Calvert and Park Guell.

Park Guell was built by Gaudi and opened in 1926 and is now considered a World Heritage Site. Within the park, there are two different areas: the park area and the monument area. The park area has many landscaped terrace walls that have a beautiful view of the park. The main area- the monument area- is probably the most popular. There, there are different buildings such as the Gaudi House Museum and the main terrace in which Gaudi made a bench made of mosaics in the shape of a serpent.

41. YOLO

i believe that everyone was put on this world for a reason, but many struggle trying to figure out that reason. others may already feel they know their purpose in life, but actually having some set of concrete values, i believe, helps you live by them. i’ve always known who i am as a person, and i’ve always been confident in myself but have never really had a set mission. i decided to try to come up with my mission for life the other day:

My mission is to laugh, cry, take risks, make mistakes, be passionate, determined, honest and loyal. To be happy and have no regrets, because Y.O.L.O.

dig deep. try to find yours too. 🙂
